David Ventura

About Me:
Hi, I’m David Ventura, a versatile game developer passionate about creating immersive gameplay experiences. With a strong foundation in C++, C#, Unity, and Unreal Engine, I specialize in building AI systems, gameplay mechanics, and technical art/VFX that bring worlds to life.
Over the past few years, I’ve contributed to projects ranging from multiplayer systems, to combat-driven prototypes, to artistic technical showcases. My experience spans both indie collaborations and academic projects, where I’ve often taken on cross-functional roles bridging programming, design, and technical artistry while working with cross-disciplinary groups. In my free time, I like experimenting with VR optimization, particle effects, and AI-driven gameplay. I also enjoy learning about new tools and optimization workflows. I thrive in collaborative environments, love tackling technical challenges, and aspire to craft games that leave a lasting impression.Take a look at the 'Current Project' tab to see what I’ve been working on during my free time.

Current Project

I am currently working on a cooking game where you play as a slime that collects and prepares ingredients then serves them to customers. The game is fantasy styled and heavily inspired by Overcooked and Dinner Dash. This game is a passion project and will not be monetized.(Feel free to ask me about the project's progress, I enjoy sharing updates)

Games

A compilation of games I've been a part of over the past few years. (More previous are underway)
